This light fixture is beautiful and perfect. I had a smaller fixture with lower watt bulb requirements for over 5 years and I didn't have enough light. Not to mention the old one never mounted flush to the wall. Sconces are better than picture. I used them in the theater room six in all. Three on each wall facing each other in a wide room as if they were theater sconces and the big screen on the middle wall. My wife and I love the look of the lamp, but I cant comment on how it functions or looks on the wall because it isnt installed yet. Were building a new home and had the electrician rough in two spots above the headboard for the Pharmacy Swing Arm. But when the light showed up, we couldnt install it because the plate on the light is much smaller than a typical electrical box. My electrician is going to have to make a plate to mount on the wall to cover the electrical box. The fixture will attach to the plate. Moral of the story If you are doing a hard wire into the wall (not pluggin it in to an exterior receptacle) make sure you use a rectangular switch box to wire and mount the fixture to."..."  Read more

I have had 2 of these same Lite Source halogen lamps for 16 years. One of the them I have been using every day, sometimes 8 hours a day. It provides excellent bright light for reading while in bed. After daily use for 16 years, one of the lamps went dead, and I was delighted to find out that the manufacturer is still making the exact same lamp, so I ordered a new replacement.
