All Wall Lights

I am really enjoying these lights, now that they are finally installed. We had intended to replace our old standard builder strip lights ourselves, but upon removing one, found there was no box in the wall on which to mount these new ones. So we hired an electrician. (He indicated that he had no problem installing them and thought they looked nice.) Still, I had avoided painting until the new lights had been installed and had the electrician leave the glass shades for me to do after painting. I was able to manage, but it was somewhat difficult, especially since we had them mounted to shine downward. I had to hold the glass shade in place while screwing on the holding ring with one hand. I think the ring should have threaded on more easily. The glass shades are nice and thick, and I found no imperfections in them. The main fixture has 2 mounting screws, better than some which I read had only one. I'm sure there are higher quality fixtures out there, but this one is not bad at all and we feel it is a good value."..."  Read more

I have these on each side of a guest bathroom mirror. By themselves, they don't provide enough light, but they are mostly decorative, and provide enough light for guest bathroom use. We also have harsher/brighter ceiling lights in this bathroom. The Hanalei Bay sconces are exactly what I was looking for decor-wise. Beautiful light! We needed a smaller wall sconce to go on both sides of the wall where the t.v. is and these were perfect without being too big to overpower the t.v. Ours are mounted approx. 5'5" or 6" up from the floor - you can see the back mounting plate of the light at that height which concerned us at first - but now we don't even notice it because your eye is drawn to the whole light, not the details of it. Puts off nice light! Couldn't find anything this cute in town for this price."..."  Read more

I am using this light in my master bathroom above a large builder's grade mirror. It instantly dressed up the mirror and bathroom without being over the top. I liked the fact that you could install with the lights showing up or down, we chose down. The only negative would be the candleabra type light bulbs."..."  Read more
