I used this large scale sconce in pairs in my foyer and dining room (visible from foyer) where high ceilings and wide traditional moldings called for bold pieces. I did not want a competing metal finish showing. I did want well diffused light and especially liked the ribbed glass which allows it to blend well with its more traditional surroundings while not being too "fussy". These sconces also spread the light downward onto the wall in a pleasing way. Given that I needed four, I was also pleased with the price."..."  Read more
