We have a dining room that has become our music room. We wanted a nice warm feeling in the room and replaced the chandelier (which no longer hangs over the table because we took the table out and added a piano, chairs and a love seat with a coffee table). We have some very old photos and paintings of ancestors on two opposite walls. The combination of the Murray Feiss Russell Chandelier centered on the ceiling and our new matching Russell Sconces replacing the existing ones on the other two opposite walls has completely transitioned the room to a cozy and dramatic music room with huge potential to be a very appealing dining room someday if we ever switch it back. When I discovered the sconces I knew I'd love them. They give warm light and a nice aged wrought iron curving sort of grace. I sort of feel like I'm in a castle when I sit in that room! Well, there you have it. A dining room turned music room with center chandelier and matching wall sconces. Let me tell you... I LOVE IT and when I change it back into a dining room it will work just wonderfully. These sconces are lovely but not in a dainty way. They certainly grace the walls with structure and warmth. This is a setting that welcomes candles without competing with them and music belongs here. My adult kids LOVE this music room. I am very pleased with the quickness of delivery, the look of the light and the amount of light it gives. I recently refinished a bathroom and could not find a light to enhance the looks of the medicine cabinet and the room. This light is just perfect. I LOVE everything Murray Feiss, so for me it is only a matter of finding one of their fixtures that I want. You can always count on the highest quality and perfect packaging. We bought this fixture to use as a wall mount above the side wall on a window seat (for reading). We mounted it upside down so that it makes a better reading light. It is perfect. We purchased two matching single vanity sconces to the Murray Feiss Bristol three light vanity light. We have them mounted over our sink on either side of the mirror on a black slate wall and and connected to a dimmer switch. We can turn the intensity way down but still have equal lighting around the vanity which is aesthetically very pleasing. The bright chrome finish matches our bright chrome faucet and drawer pulls. The total look of our newly renovated bathroom, I would say, is traditional with a slightly modern flare. These Murray Feiss Bristol light fixtures really give the room a traditional classic design with just a touch of modern. They breath new life into the whole room and are very expensive looking at a very modest price.
