I bought these for a brand new guest bathroom and I am very pleasantly surprised! I really thought that I would be sending these back....boy was I wrong. First of all the finish and quality is terrific for the price. Everything I could find in polished nickel was at least 2X that price and would have to be special order. The only thing, which by the way worked out in my favor, is the dimensions. The description states that the total dimensions are 7" H x 5.25" W. I really thought it was going to be too small for the space. But fortunately the entire sconce from the top of the shade to the bottom is 12" long and the widest part of the sconce is approx. 5 1/2" wide. Also we had to do a little surgery on one of the shades. The neck that sits around the part that you screw the light bulb into was a little snug and would not push down far enough to allow the bulb to be screwed in. We took a metal snip and just snipped the neck apart and slipped it on. We turned the shade so that the snip is facing the back , and voila! Perfect. I love these sconces and they appeaar to be of the quality of a much higher priced fixture . Just the right amount of sparkle with the glass bead at the end of the sconce."..."  Read more
