These worked beautifully and match our other bedroom hardware and dresser pulls in brushed steel/nickel. The shade is the big surprise. I expected a beige shade with dark threads/fibers as shown. I was really happy to find the shade has a near white shade and the threads/fibers are also white but with a bit of a sheen against the matte shade, creating some texture and depth. The lamps are perfect for what I wanted, wall mounting adjacent a large headboard. We were able to pivot the bases so that the cords are hidden behind the headboard, thus appearing to be hardwired. My requirement for this purchase was the dimming feature, and it works nicely without any noise. Arms are extendable, and lamp head can pivot to either side as well as extend outward or retract inward. One of the lamps arrived with a broken bulb, but we opted to change that out ourselves rather than deal with a store exchange process. Other than the bulb, the lamps arrived in perfect condition, wrapped well and free from scratches or dents. I am very pleased. You can count on anything made by Murray Feiss to be excellent quality. I have slowly changed almost every light fixture in my house to this brand. If I see a picture online that I like, I know that the quality will be either the same or better than the picture indicates. I bought three of these light fixtures, two for the master bath, and one for one of my guest bathrooms. Both rooms have an additional overhead flush mount light fixture (a matching Murray Feiss). I put fluorescent bulbs in all of the fixtures, so I get a lot of light for very little money. All of the fixtures are very nice looking and go nicely with my basic Grohe fixtures. I like very simple designs, so this was perfect for me. If you want something more ornate, go with one of their other fixtures."..."  Read more
