This fixture is used along with the 6-light version over a double sink vanity. This 3-light fixture is used on a side mirror.
The fixtures take up to 100W bulbs, so there is plenty of variation in the light output possible. I only used 75W's, and that was quite a bit of light. But, the heat output from incandescent bulbs was too much for the bathroom space. I put compact fluorescents in the 6-light fixture, and I put 40W bulbs in the 3-light fixture (because I was too cheap to buy more fluorescents.) The 6-light is the main light source, so I didn't need strong light from the 3-light source anyway.
The electrician said that the hardest part of the install was putting on the shades. A flat wrench-like tool is provided with the fixture. You would need to keep that in case you ever had to change a shade. The bulbs were easy to screw in."..." Read more
