All Wall Lights

Pleased with the lights and found them to be of high quality. My only complaint comes with the mounting instructions. The instructions are generic and only show the crossbar mounting bracket for in the wall box. My lights came with a circular plate for mounting in the box and leveling the light. Took me until I installed the second light on how to figure how to use the mounting plate. It would have been nice for the instructions to include this type of mounting plate. The lights look very elegant and have received rave reviews! We installed 2 of them next to each other for a brighter light effect. Anyone ordering them ahead of time though should know that you cannot reverse the lights (that is, mount them with lights facing down) due to the fact that the halogen bulbs generate more heat than average bulbs and the heat rising upward would collect in the globe areas possibly causing an overheating situation. Fits nicely on the wall of our stairwell leading up to our great room. We put two 23 watt (60W) fluorescent bulbs in it which is more than adequate to illuminate the stairs (bulb pointing downwards) and softly lights up the wall above (bulb pointing upwards). So far I'm pleased with this product. A couple of things which I could not find info about (even on the mfgr's website): This lamp weighs around 19lbs (I had read elsewhere on the internet that it was 35lbs), but mostly no one seems to say how much it weighs. The color of the light is bronze, like the text says. The picture currently on the website (as well as the box I got) makes it look greenish. The glass has a bronze spray tint on the inside of the glass. The glass looks darkish when the lights are off (when the lights are on, the glass looks pretty white). I'm okay with the tint, but I suspect it could be rubbed off with a plastic scrub pad (I haven't tried this). Jeff"..."  Read more
