The light is substantial, so if you are looking for a slim light this one is not the one to buy. The light sticks out the perfect amount to highlight the painting. If you want great lighting fixtures for your home this is the place to go. This is my first experience with Wayfair and if need be it won't be my last. The selection is wide and the prices are very reasonable. When I received my wall sconces they were very well packaged and were delivered in a timely manner. The quality was superb. The lights make my dining room look very classy and they look very substantial on the wall. They gave me that expensive look without the expensive price and I didn't have to leave my house to buy them!! The images of the lights were well represented by the internet pictures. These sconces are a great accent light. We have them in our powder room and they, along with the matching mirror on the opposing wall, add a touch of formal elegance to the pee pee place. Chose to mount on wall for better stability. The 52 by 48 inch painting required a long light and this 27 inch light does the trick as it illuminates all of the painting with its fifteen bulbs. It does get hot after prolonged use but I guess it is expected considering. One word of caution - when removing light from styrofoam please do so VERY slowly, three of the bulbs two springs and two separators shot out one end of fixture. Replaced and everything ok. Also wish the line cord switch could be located elsewhere as it falls in an awkward location for my personal application."..."  Read more
