All Wall Lights

Bought these to replace some feminine-type sconces in my bedroom. These are perfect with wood furniture. The specs say 60W light-bulbs but because I also have an overhead light I use these with 15W bulbs which gives off enough light for a large bedroom. Not having installed sconces before the instructions were a bit too vague and the wall mounts weren't pre-set for these lights. I finally figured it out but it took a fair amount of time. Also the screws where the actual sconces were mounted were too long, which I discovered after I connected the wiring so I had to cut and file the ends. I had an electrician friend help me just a bit but after this experience I could do it myself. After all that though these are great, almost perfect for the lighting I wanted. Everyone is complimenting my sconces (I got the version shown in the product picture). I was worried that they would not shed enough light - but they do. The light is a beautiful and soft, but still illuminates my dark foyer. Compared to a lot of mission lighting, these are a great deal. The verdigris is understated."..."  Read more

Fits nicely on the wall of our stairwell leading up to our great room. We put two 23 watt (60W) fluorescent bulbs in it which is more than adequate to illuminate the stairs (bulb pointing downwards) and softly lights up the wall above (bulb pointing upwards). Took my husband quite a while to install with our Afina signature 4-door cabinet, but was a perfect match. We were initially concerned that the bar wouldn't be the same style (too "hollywood") but it works well with our transitional decor. Larger bulbs are available by special order; they do get hot but provide a lot of light. Good buy. Would add that folks @ Afina directly are amazing at customer service and sent us additional installation hardware and samples of the wood we selected at no charge.
