This is advertised as a "sconce," but it is not; as the picture shows, it is a hanging chandelier. I notified Wayfair of this, but they have not fixed the listing. I ordered one of these in a different bronze color for my parents' dining room and hung it myself. I have hung other wired light fixtures and ceiling fans before with no problem and this was no problem either. One suggestion is to hang the light and THEN ADD THE CRYSTALS. I hung the crystals on the chandelier first and this makes it much more difficult to hang. I ordered the heirloom bronze one for myself and will be hanging it in the corner of my bedroom tomorrow. I will hang it as a swag lamp (bought the plug end for a few dollars at a big box home improvement store - this converts the fixture from a hardwired one to a plug-in type and is so easy to do) These are top quality fixtures and the crystals are BEAUTIFUL!! Pay attention to measurements because if you plan to hang it in a place where a larger fixture is needed, this will not do because it is a small fixture."..."  Read more
