I had bought another picture light elsewhere and the quality was poor and the finish was cheap looking. I bought this light in bronze. The finish and quality of the light are very good. The light is substantial, so if you are looking for a slim light this one is not the one to buy. The light sticks out the perfect amount to highlight the painting. We have a double bowl sink/vanity that we just installed with 24" wide mirrors over each of bowls. These vanity sconces look and work great over each mirror. The photo shows them installed before the mirrors were attached. PRO: Solid, thick lamp shades. The little bulbs it comes with are nice and bright. CON: Before I purchased them, I asked if we could rotate them so that they were in a down lighting position verses up lighting and the Wayfair customer rep said yes. The instructions say up lighting only. I have them secured to the electrical round boxes with extra screws because of the heavy weight of the shades. We liked that look better and wouldn't have purchased them if the Wayfair rep said they couldn't be installed that way. We're keeping our fingers crossed hoping the Wayfair rep is correct and the instructions was just a guide on which way they should be installed. The bulbs are a bit tight to install. They do need a good strong push going into the ceramic holder. At times you feel like you're going to break those little bulbs. It felt like those special bulbs could only be installed one way even though it didn't look that way. A couple wouldn't install unless I rotate the bulb 180 degrees before pushing them in."..."  Read more

We have this sconce in our bathroom. It is really a striking piece and we have received many good comments regarding the light. I would have given the sconce five stars but the light bulbs seem to be "high maintenance" considering that there is a tool to use to change them with. We also have two other lights in the bathroom so we did not need a super bright light. This is worth the money spent if you like modern or art like pieces. Plus it is always thoughtful to the next generation to buy items made of recycled material."..."  Read more

Chose to mount on wall for better stability. The 52 by 48 inch painting required a long light and this 27 inch light does the trick as it illuminates all of the painting with its fifteen bulbs. It does get hot after prolonged use but I guess it is expected considering. One word of caution - when removing light from styrofoam please do so VERY slowly, three of the bulbs two springs and two separators shot out one end of fixture. Replaced and everything ok. Also wish the line cord switch could be located elsewhere as it falls in an awkward location for my personal application."..."  Read more
