Installed this for a previous install, client wanted ability to pan the tv for using a wii. Absolutely stunning when in operation, unit extends out the tv about 10" and can be adjusted up, down, left, right. Rails are a little short on the larger tv mounts, required some modification. Unit is well built, heavy (read need two people to hang), must have structural stud support, no flimsy steel studs.
