I have a 52" Panasonic plasma. Having read user reviews of numerous mounts I knew this one would be the best choice. Everyone was right. The contractor that we used to redo the electricity and cabling in our wall has installed a lot of home theater systems, and about 6-8 different types of mounts. He pointed out a number of little advantages that this mount has over all of the others (that make it easier to install), and when we were done he was certain that it is the best mount he's seen. One of the important factors that we noticed is that the tolerance on the primary screw holes allow for some minor tweaks even once it has been installed, something that he hasn't seen on any of the other mounts. As for handling the weight of a 52" TV, this mount does it with ease. I had absolutely no doubt it could handle it and I attach the TV with confidence every time. I have had to remove the TV numerous time during work we're having done in that area and the removal and resetting of the TV could not be easier. Of course it requires two people (typically men as my wife refused to try considering the weight of the TV). Then there is the fact that this mount comes with a gazillion different sets of hardware for probably any TV form. The one issue that I must emphasize is that you MUST make sure you have the proper studs in the location that you want the TV. If you are needing to center the TV, verify the location of your studs vs how the mount is going to hang on the studs. You may not be able to center it as you'd like. I was lucky enough that we were already tearing up the walls for another reason so we attached some horizontal studs to the existing studs so we could align the mount anywhere we needed to horizontally and be certain we were hitting a stud. Once it was up I have to say I really appreciate the ability it offers for adjustments. We have ours mounted above our fireplace (which we never use) and we can move it all around as necessary. And it always stays exactly where we stop it. In short, I think it's got to be the perfect mount because I have nothing to complain about."..."  Read more

I own an older Pioneer 50" plasma television (model PRO1000HDI) that was mounted on the wall for almost 5 years. We recently moved, and a wall-mount was no longer an option. Unfortunately this television does not come with a tabletop stand, so I contacted the manufacturer directly and found that the optional stand was discontinued years ago, and that if I was able to find a stand it would cost over $400. I searched for replacements and came across Premier Mounts. They claimed that their universal stand would support this television. I was initially concerned, because this Pioneer unit weighs MUCH more than any of the other flat-panel sets we own. It works very well! Pro's: -Extremely easy assembly and adjustment. -Supports my very heavy plasma panel. -Low profile, no protruding pieces or panels to snag on furniture. -Came with a variety of mounting screws, so the stand should be able to work with any TV we purchase in the future. Con's: -I really wish the base, which is the only visible part of the stand, was finished in gloss black to better match the television. It's flat-black and looks like a big piece of MDF wood. -In my case, there's no way to adjust the height once the television was mounted. Measure appropriately before you crank down on the set screws, because they will dent the pillars. -In my case, the integrated wire chases built into the two pillars were useless because they are located too high on the pole. I would have to bend the HDMI and component cables at near 90* angles to feed them back down to the television's inputs. Thankfully, the removable panel obscures them well enough. -I'd suggest you use a little threadlocker on the adjustable screws. We've moved the TV from the entertainment furniture to the floor twice now and discovered that they were loose. I used a tiny drop of threadlocker and they've remained secure since."..."  Read more

I bought this for my 22" Samsung LCD TV - perfect fit! I needed a long arm that could be rotated 90 degrees for viewing from my treadmill, placed on the same wall. When not in use, the TV also has to fold up flat to the wall to avoid the closet door. This mount has 4 pivoting arm joints, for viewing and folding in many directions. The factory set tightness is far too tight, and doesn't allow for easy moving. But the joints are very easy to loosen with the supplied hardware once you get the end caps off. Because this is a "universal mount" it has tons of hardware for any brand, size or mounting pattern; it can be confusing to decide which hardware to use, and most of it you will not need. There is a separate mounting plate for use with bigger TVs, which it took a while to figure out I didn't need for my 22". But the mount is very easy to install, once you figure out which hardware works with your TV."..."  Read more

This mount is awesome! Our family utilizes the swing out arm on a daily basis so we can view our lcd from the kitchen. The only downside is the strength needed to pull it out from the wall...we're hoping with more daily use it will get easier (my wife has a harder time with it). As for the up/down tilt and left/right, it is super easy. I would highly recommend if you need a mount that can pivot left/right. Only other thing to consider is where your inputs are located on the back of the TV. Ours are middle and center (Sony Bravia 40") and this posed a small challenge on cables we could use...we had to find low profile hdmi, etc... as the mount is solid right where our input/outputs are located for the TV and the regular size hdmi's wouldn't fit. All in all very happy & would purchase again for other wall mounts."..."  Read more
