I have gone through three other wall mounts that claimed they would hold a TV 15lbs heavier than the one I own, each of them could not maintain the tilt position so the flat screen drooped downward. This mount worked correctly, handling the flat screens weight load. This mount comes in two pieces a) the part that mounts to the TV and b) the part that mounts to the wall; The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating was I had difficulty mating the two pieces together at the final stage of installation"..."  Read more

I carefully and systematically compared all major competition for 22 inch LCD on-wall mounting. Major competitors including Sanus and Omnimount offer either a very flimsy "small" size articulating mount with poor reviews online, or huge bulky "medium" size articulating mount with a huge flat metal panel swing arm mechanism which I found quite unattractive and unnecessarily bulky. (I actually purchased 3 of these and brought them home to examine.)My office has three wall mounted 32 and 37 inch LCD's that use a larger Chief mount (which is of the same design as this smaller counterpart) and they are excellent in design and function and support. So, faced with the inadequate competition, I went ahead and ordered the Chief online. Although I wished that I could have purchased locally, my experience with Chief led me to take the risk. The Chief mount is FAR superior, truly. Unlike the offset approach of others, it is mounted in the center of the space the LCD will hang (which makes for easier configuring and positioning), and it is streamlined in appearance and has built-in cord concealment. It also includes a larger size VESA 200mm conversion mountplate (rather than having to order it separately).Finally, my [...]experience could not have been more favorable.[...]GREAT mount (and I have a lot of experience) and worth waiting for arrival. Very well built, easy to install, very easy to adjust. Only thing I would do differently would be to buy the mount adapter for my specific TV model. The universal mount adapter covers up the connections in the back and makes it hard to connect cables, plus the mounting rails are longer than they need to be for this TV. One screw for the mount adapter had a partially stripped head out of the bag and was very hard to screw in. Not good for something brand new."..."  Read more
