All TV Mounts

I actually mounted a larger TV (42") because it was within the weight limit of the ceiling mount. TV does tilt a little fwd because of the weight but the fwd tilt is what i needed anyway. if you mount this close to a wall it is difficult to adjust and make TV connections. I carefully and systematically compared all major competition for 22 inch LCD on-wall mounting. Major competitors including Sanus and Omnimount offer either a very flimsy "small" size articulating mount with poor reviews online, or huge bulky "medium" size articulating mount with a huge flat metal panel swing arm mechanism which I found quite unattractive and unnecessarily bulky. (I actually purchased 3 of these and brought them home to examine.)My office has three wall mounted 32 and 37 inch LCD's that use a larger Chief mount (which is of the same design as this smaller counterpart) and they are excellent in design and function and support. So, faced with the inadequate competition, I went ahead and ordered the Chief online. Although I wished that I could have purchased locally, my experience with Chief led me to take the risk. The Chief mount is FAR superior, truly. Unlike the offset approach of others, it is mounted in the center of the space the LCD will hang (which makes for easier configuring and positioning), and it is streamlined in appearance and has built-in cord concealment. This ceiling mount is a great buy. The instructions are clear and simple to follow and I had it performing exactly as desired in a remarkably short time.
