All TV Mounts

The stand is great for my purpose. I am using it as a vertical display for a 27 inch TV at trade shows. Only down fall is for this purpose I wish there was more height for attention purposes, but would also probably offset the balance of the stand and TV. I bought this for my 22" Samsung LCD TV - perfect fit! I needed a long arm that could be rotated 90 degrees for viewing from my treadmill, placed on the same wall. When not in use, the TV also has to fold up flat to the wall to avoid the closet door. This mount has 4 pivoting arm joints, for viewing and folding in many directions. The factory set tightness is far too tight, and doesn't allow for easy moving. But the joints are very easy to loosen with the supplied hardware once you get the end caps off. Because this is a "universal mount" it has tons of hardware for any brand, size or mounting pattern; it can be confusing to decide which hardware to use, and most of it you will not need. There is a separate mounting plate for use with bigger TVs, which it took a while to figure out I didn't need for my 22". It was tough to locate a wall mount that would tilt and rotate right and left, yet allow entry to my Sony KDL-26S2010 TV's HDMI connection point. For some strange reason, all connection points are in the center of the unit, exactly where most mounts attach (and cover). I went through three different mounts. the Ergotron Neo-Flex HD Wall Mount Swing Arm finally did the trick. But not out of the box. I had to drill out some of the holes for the screws, so that I could attach the mount to the TV in a position that admitted the HDMI cable. Plus, I had to purchase different screws. If I had been using cables other than the HDMI, I'm not sure the mount would have worked at all because it would probably cover the connection points on the TV. Most, but not all of the fault, lies with Sony. The TV manufacturer should locate the connection points anywhere but dead center of the unit. Still, all Ergotron had to do was try to connect its mount to the Sony before advertising it as compatible."..."  Read more

Pricy, but you get what you pay for. Peace of mind your screens won't end up on the floor. Plus, excellent resale value.First time set up, best done in open work area, make all adjustments, remove screens, move stand, reinstall screens with cables pre attached.
