I was looking for a durable serving bowl that was easier to handle and in a brighter color than my very durable, but heavy, Emile Henry pieces. I love the lighter weight of this bowl and the color is stunning, but it unfortunately was not very chip resistant. Not terrible, but not heavy duty either. Hand wash VERY carefully and if you have granite countertops (as I do), be very careful putting it down. One tap the wrong way and a chip came off the bottom of the bowl. That said, I would still buy more Waechtersbach IF I found it on sale. It is as expensive as Emile Henry but not as durable, but certainly much more durable than beautiful, expensive, and extremely flimsy Tracy Porter pieces."..."  Read more

I saw this basket in a local boutique and fell in love with it. I didn't feel I could afford the indulgence at the time. I couldn't quit thinking about it and when I went back to the store it was gone. I started an internet search and found it on the Wayfair website. The bonus.....it was on sale.
