I bought my first set of plates over 12 years ago. I have been using them daily for years and they look like it. Chips, scratches and more. It has taken me years to find the perfect plates and I finally found these. I ordered them and patiently waited for the plates to arrive. These plates are hefty and absolutely beautiful. I recently purchased 4 square dinner plates that match my set of 12. The four are to replace several plates that were ruined by using them in the microwave with packaged microwave bacon! A faint gray spiral crazing developed over the surface on 3 dinner plates & it took us a few months to discover why? AHH the BACON! so instead of giving up microwave bacon, I will use a pyrex pie plate LOL (From now on, the plates will not be used for that purpose!) They are microwave safe, except for the problem I stated. I like the white classic design. The shape adds visual variety. I also have the smaller square salad plates, the round soup & fruit bowls, mugs & larger platters & serving bowls, etc. A beautiful set I have had for 5 years."..." Read more
