I was looking for solar lights (to stick into the ground) when I came across these Solar Wedge Lights. I decided to take a chance on them and glad that I did. These are great little lights and certainly put out the light. We have an area of our back yard fenced-in and have used solar lights (staked in the ground) for a couple of years now. I always had to move them around when the perennials began to grow and constantly straighten them. I first purchased 4 of the Weddge Lights to see how we liked them. Three worked great and we had to request a replacement for the one that didn't work - we even tried to replace the batteries so that wasn't the issue.[...]We placed the lights about 3-4 feet high on the posts on the inside of the fence gates and also at the top of the deck steps. Great lighting! I then purchased an additional 6 to put at the other two gates and on the front of the deck.They are a little pricey but so far they have been worth it, and they are so small that they are barely noticeable. We love these lights. As the other reviewers said, it is bright enough to eat under or read under without being too obtrusive or blinding. It makes a stunning addition to our outdoor pool deck. Lights are easy to install. I had no problems with the quality of the zip ties they provided or the instructions. The hardest part was deciding where to mount the battery pack so that it was within easy reach to plug and unplug but without obscuring anything. My one desired change to this product would be to provide a remote control so the battery pack can be mounted all the way at the top of the pole but you can still switch lights on and off. I have tried other pole lighting options, and this is far superior!!! Buy with confidence."..."  Read more

I received these lights last week. They were easy to install and are very attractive. The only thing I don't like about them is the bright blue/white light inherent to all solor lighting. It doesn't match the softer lighting on my home. It is however, very bright for solor lighting. I installed them on stone walls at the end of my driveway. I dont know who wrote about these lights not working in a darkly lit space because they work phenomenally! I installed these lights in my back hallwaystairway where there is no way to wire in a light. My backdoor has a window and even during the day these lights will turn on. They really do work well and light up the stairs fantastically. The only negative is the heavy duty double sided tape thats included to install the lights (there are also screws included, which is the best route). It makes no sense to use the tape because you will basically have to rip the tape off every time you have to change the batteries. Just poor engineering in that sense. Otherwise I highly recommend these to anyone who has a need for a bright light with no accessibility to electrical."..."  Read more
