These lights are great! Me and my wife wanted a more modern type of lighting fixture that would provide awesome accent lighting to our garage columns outdoors. These were exactly what we wanted and couldnt be any happier. Ive been looking and comparing prices for several weeks now and made a decision to purchase 3 of these cylinder lights to install on all 3 columns. Being an electrician, bringing power and installation was a piece of cake to me. I eventually set the 3 lights on a mechanical timeclock so they turn on and off at according to programmed times. Instead of incadescent R 30 lamps [60 watts] I used CFL [15watt] replacements instead. We get compliments all the time and are very happy with these fixtures!"..."  Read more

We had traditional lights on house and post which didn't hold up against the salt air. We replaced post lights with these and they looked great. I received these lights last week. They were easy to install and are very attractive. The only thing I don't like about them is the bright blue/white light inherent to all solor lighting. It doesn't match the softer lighting on my home. It is however, very bright for solor lighting. I installed them on stone walls at the end of my driveway. Our 22 new lights look great on our new multi-level deck and stairs. Our contractor placed the lights on the posts. Only one complaint: some of the lights were of poor quality as far as the coating goes (chipped, marred, etc). We placed those on areas where the defects could not be seen.
