Versatile in its lighting settings, with gradually changing VIVID color (not at all shy) or several degrees of white light, soft, bright or candlelight. My small uncovered deck is decorated as living area. This small charming lamp is perfect. I have 2 lamps on my deck for nite illumination. They are set up with an inside Remote On/Off switch~this lamp needs that because it does not have an On/Off switch. I used a 7w nite light (it calls for a 40w). Have had it one month & live in the WET Pacific NW. It has a glass globe that goes over the light bulb~then the shade sits on that. It will be up all year. It's hard to find outdoor lower priced lighting~very pleased with my purchase. Love my 3% rebates from Wayfair too!"..."  Read more

These are perfect for use on my roofdeck where we have no power outlets. They provide just enough lighting to be able to see things on the table so you aren't sitting in pitch black. And they are really pretty too. I also used them at a campground as a nightlight for my kids in a dark cabin. They charge well - I keep them in a sunny windowsill and they're always ready in case of a power outage.
