All Outdoor Lights

I received these lights last week. They were easy to install and are very attractive. The only thing I don't like about them is the bright blue/white light inherent to all solor lighting. It doesn't match the softer lighting on my home. It is however, very bright for solor lighting. I installed them on stone walls at the end of my driveway. I dont know who wrote about these lights not working in a darkly lit space because they work phenomenally! I installed these lights in my back hallwaystairway where there is no way to wire in a light. My backdoor has a window and even during the day these lights will turn on. They really do work well and light up the stairs fantastically. The only negative is the heavy duty double sided tape thats included to install the lights (there are also screws included, which is the best route). It makes no sense to use the tape because you will basically have to rip the tape off every time you have to change the batteries. Just poor engineering in that sense. Otherwise I highly recommend these to anyone who has a need for a bright light with no accessibility to electrical."..."  Read more

We recently renovated the exterior of our 50's era house and the Hollywood Hills line of outdoor lights are truly the icing on the cake. They add a bit of whimsy as well as contemporary style. The outer fixture seems flimsy when unpacked, but once the glass cylinder is in place, they're sturdy. In a neighborhood filled with white brick/black shutters/red doors, we're a real stand-out.
