I was a little leery ordering an office chair online, without being able to sit on it first. However, I did read all of the previous reviews and felt pretty certain that I would be pleased. Firstly, I put this chair together myself in about 20 minutes! It was super simple and came together to be a pretty sturdy chair. I am very pleased with the price I paid and the quality of this chair. The seat of the chair is very cushiony as is the back. A couple things I like best about the chair; Although I am 5'4, I have relatively short legs, I have found with other office chairs my legs would just sort of "dangle", and if I adjusted the height, it would make it uncomfortably low to reach my desk. The seat on this chair makes a perfect fit for legs! Also, the arms hit in just the right spot, allowing me to pull up to my desk closer than other chairs have. All in all the chair fits all of my needs. Please note, I am not "short" so please do not think you have to be "petite" to enjoy this chair. Having just purchased 2 desks from Wayfair, I needed 2 desk chairs ASAP. The price on these chairs allows me to use them temporarily while waiting for our custom finished and upholstered chairs to be made & delivered. I wasn't expecting much at this price point, but wow! Other than I can't use the mahogony wood tone, they are really a nice, comfortable chair. The button and tufted detail and brass tacks really reflects a much more expensive chair. I had bought several chairs over the last five years from one of the office supply chain stores ranging from $99 to $200+ dollars. All of them died or were replaced within a year. This chair has surpassed all of it's predecessors after a month. The chair is soft but firm. I can sit in it for 8 hours and be comfortable. The red is a great color and the adjustable arms are solid feeling with the right amount of padding for your elbows/arms when working. For the price it is a great chair. Basic chair adjustments of 1) height, 2) back height 3) back angle, and 4) arm rest height all work well and have a good range to fit anybody. I love the vinyl material since the chair is easy to wipe away any kids dirty hand prints or spills. The only draw back from the vinyl is when I sit down or stand up. I hear the hissing sound of air escaping or rushing into the seat from where the arms screw into the bottom side of the seat. I think this chair will last me more than a year, which is huge winner in my book!"..."  Read more

In a limited den space, we use the chair at the computer, then turn it around and recline it for watching TV or reading. Our computer setup is in a cabinet; when its doors are closed the chair looks like an attractive, comfortable choice and color (burgundy) for our den. Still, the style is executive and would be an impressive addition to an office setting. I use it upright for the computer which I use a lot and it has relieved my customary backache. My husband uses it reclined (there are 3 positions) to read and watch TV. Keep in mind that my husband resists anything new unless it's a golf club, but he took to this chair like the proverbial duck. The chair was a stellar match for our needs."..."  Read more
