I sit at a desk the vast majority of the day. I was having back pain and other issues with my former desk chair. But this chair has ended all that. This chair is strong and supportive. (I am significantly overweight so a sturdy chair is often an issue.) I no longer am experiencing pain of any kind, back or otherwise. This chair is also a great value. Actually my CFO recommended this chair as he had just bought one for himself. (And I am talking the #2 person in the company - he could have ANY chiar!) - and so I bought it on his recommendation. Now mind you, my company bought this chair. I had many options, including spending considerably more money. But I am here to tell you, this chair is great. I recommend it whole heartedly. I am even planning on replacing my home desk chair with this one - on my own dime, no less!! Outstanding chair - strong, supportive, sturdy and comfortable in which to sit for a long period of time. this is a very nice office chair. i've purchased 3 other office chairs in the past 10 years. all of them were high-backed black leather and all of them were a disappointment. i just received this one yesterday and, so far, i like this chair. i just need to see how the arm rests hold-up over the next year or so to judge durability and make a final judgement. the assembly directions aren't fabulous but they are almost exactly the same as the directions for the other chairs i've ordered so i already knew to unpack all the bolts and washers carefully and keep each group of bolts separate and organized. all the bolt holes have grommets, the grommets are securely seated and all the bolts mated to their grommets perfectly. and that perfect mating was a bit of a surprise. in my (limited) experience, there's usually some strong-arming required for one or two bolt/bolt holes. but there were no assembly problems with this chair. the only tool needed is an included allen wrench. even before assembly, you can feel the leather is very supple for a chair this inexpensive. once assembled, you can appreciate the lumbar support is excellent, the arm-rest, seat and back cushioning is very comfortable, the hydrolic mechanism works, as expected, and the casters are fair. i still want to see that the arm rest cushioning does not crush with use. i've seen that problem twice in other chairs. if these arms hold-up i would give this chair an unqualified thumbs-up even when compared with chairs costing 3 times as much."..."  Read more

We purchased this chair for a 6'3" Executive. He wanted a professional looking chair that would "fit" him. He wanted versatility with adjustable arms, back and seat. That is hard to find in an executive looking chair. He works at his desk for 8-10 hours a day and this chair supports his back and body. Great value for the features. Have to say we looked at a lot of executive, ergonomic chairs. Some of the newer ergonomic chairs looked too "modern" for his office and didn't always fit a tall man. The instructions to assemble the chair were only drawings. It took many hours! Searching for a chair on-line can be tedious and you can't see or sit in it. [...]"..."  Read more

I love this chair, it's the best chair I've ever owned to date. I've had more expensive chairs but none that I liked better than this one. For my size/weight it's perfect for many, many hours of sitting. It's easily adjustable in several dimensions including the lumbar support which is critical to me. The seat padding is firm but not hard, it's firm enough that it doesn't crush leaving my pelvic bones in contact with a hard surface. All in all, it's a fantastic chair. I'm an IT professional and I sit in this thing all day long, sometimes as much as 18 hours. That's hard use for any chair and I'm not a small person by any means. It's at the end of it's travel for height adjustment and I can sit with my legs at a 90 degree angle and my feet flat on the floor. It's the perfect height for sitting at my desk. I love the concave arm rests, which are also adjustable for height. I have a pretty serious back injury and sitting for long durations can be a problem, that's why I picked this chair. It's big, I can shift around in it to avoid fatigue from sitting in the same spot too long. Time will tell how durable it is, but as of now after using it for a month, I love it. A note to everyone about this kind of chair. When you assemble it, get those screws TIGHT. Flex and movement of the assembly screws is one of the main reasons for chair failure. I've learned this from bitter experience. The main screws in this chair come with a drop of LocTite blue on them, a sure sign of a quality chair."..."  Read more
