I sit at a desk the vast majority of the day. I was having back pain and other issues with my former desk chair. But this chair has ended all that. This chair is strong and supportive. (I am significantly overweight so a sturdy chair is often an issue.) I no longer am experiencing pain of any kind, back or otherwise. This chair is also a great value. Actually my CFO recommended this chair as he had just bought one for himself. (And I am talking the #2 person in the company - he could have ANY chiar!) - and so I bought it on his recommendation. Now mind you, my company bought this chair. I had many options, including spending considerably more money. But I am here to tell you, this chair is great. I recommend it whole heartedly. I am even planning on replacing my home desk chair with this one - on my own dime, no less!! Outstanding chair - strong, supportive, sturdy and comfortable in which to sit for a long period of time. OK, I was a little embarrassed about having to buy a "big man's" chair, but needed to. I put on a bit of weight after an accident, and literally broke my last home office chair. That said, this chair answered the bill for all my needs. It's wide and sturdy, looks great and is surprisingly comfortable. It comes disassembled, but don't let that scare ya, if you know how to operate a screwdriver and read directions (in English!), you won't have a problem putting it together. The main frame parts are made of real, heavy metal, so you may need help with lifting if you have a bad back - but trust me, you will have a comfortable chair that will help your back as soon as you are done. The cushions at first do seem a little "hard", but after sitting in it, it just feels right to me. I've been sitting in this chair for up to 18 hours a day doing home business (and games too), and have never felt uncomfortable because of the chair. I now actually prefer it over my recliner even when watching TV... My only little complaint is that this chair does what every other chair I've ever owned does to me in the middle of the night - it squeaks and creaks a bit - not enough to bother anyone else, but enough for me to notice. I'd recommend this chair to anyone who likes a bit more space to sit on. The seat area is very wide, and not just big people will like this, I have a petite little friend who likes to sit "Indian style" in this chair and wants to get one of her own now too. This chair is unbelievably comfortable. And it's good looking - suited for any office, particularly an executive office. I've lived in this chair for 3 years. I've taken power naps and awakened refreshed many a time. My only beef is I'm 6-4/250 lbs and the leg rest isn't long enough. Anyone shorter will love this recliner. It's made in Brazil from high quality leather. The mechanism is good and hasn't had problems other than the hydraulic height adjust wearing out after 3 years of constant use. Took it to a local office chair place and they gave me an old cylinder for free. As for the guy saying no lumbar support, it's a friggin recliner! If you aren't in danger of falling asleep in this chair in recline mode, you've got real problems (and it's not with your back). Personally, I love to partially recline and use my wireless keyboard and mouse on my lap. Very relaxing - your feet will love you for it. For power naps, just put the chair back, dim the lights and in minutes you're snoozing. My biggest regret is not buying this chair two decades ago..."..."  Read more
