I am 5'1" and weigh about 105lbs and suffered from chronic shoulder and lower back pain for years due to incorrect posture when sitting in front of my computer at home and at work. Most office chairs available in stores are made for individuals with medium built figure and I've looked for years to find that perfect chair that's made specifically for petite person like me. I finally decided on spending a small fortune buying 2 chairs (one for my hubby) for our home office and I wish I've done it sooner. If I add up all the medical bills I've had from going to my chiropractor and massage sessions throughout the years, I can probably buy 10 of these! I got the Size A which is perfect for my petite body build, I am no longer overreaching to my keyboard or find myself sitting on the edge of the chair because the seat is too "long". My shoulder/back pains have subsided significantly over the last 3 months since using this chair. The lumbar support is also great for my lower back!! I purchased the chairs in February and it worked so well that I just ordered another Size A for my work last week. Wayfair has been great to extend the volume discount on my 3rd Aeron chair. P.S. Pros: These are nice chairs. I was looking for nicer chairs for my recently remodel high-end home office. I did not want the junk-quality office depot style chairs. Overall, they certainly met my expectation in that category. They are somewhat firm at first but have gotten more comfortable after several weeks of use. I also like the ability to choose the color. I chose blue and it looks "custom" since it's not typically available in the chain stores. The armrest pads are nice bvoth in function and fashion. They swivel and turn smoothly, as well as go up and down to your desire position with ease. Cons: I was not pleased to see that these are made from BONDED leather, a major fact I must have read past on the description. For this kind of money for a relatively small surface office chair, I assumed it would be natural leather. Also, the back seems are selaed with a long clear plastic strip, similar to a piece of hot glue gun glue before it melts, not the most attractive touch. Overall, if you are looking for a chair at that next level beyond the chain stores with attractive looks, good quality and comfort, I recommend this chair. This chair is unbelievably comfortable. And it's good looking - suited for any office, particularly an executive office. I've lived in this chair for 3 years. I've taken power naps and awakened refreshed many a time. My only beef is I'm 6-4/250 lbs and the leg rest isn't long enough. Anyone shorter will love this recliner. It's made in Brazil from high quality leather. The mechanism is good and hasn't had problems other than the hydraulic height adjust wearing out after 3 years of constant use. Took it to a local office chair place and they gave me an old cylinder for free. As for the guy saying no lumbar support, it's a friggin recliner! If you aren't in danger of falling asleep in this chair in recline mode, you've got real problems (and it's not with your back). Personally, I love to partially recline and use my wireless keyboard and mouse on my lap. Very relaxing - your feet will love you for it. For power naps, just put the chair back, dim the lights and in minutes you're snoozing. My biggest regret is not buying this chair two decades ago..."..."  Read more

I have become a regular customer of Wayfair for household furnishings. They have never disappointed me, and the most recent purchase has been no exception. I have needed a new desk chair for quite some time, and finally took a day to try out every showroom in town and every ergonomic chair. When I sat in the "Amia," I knew instantly that it was the one--it beat out all the competition. Delivery was punctual, the item was as promised, the upholstery perfect, and I am very very happy. I love this chair and every feature it advertises. If you are in the market, I highly recommend this one by Steelcase, but there are several other in the line that are also excellent. The Steelcase "Leap," for example, is very much like the "Amia," but a little heavier--probably perfect for a man's frame. But finding the right chair really and truly requires the "toosh test."
