I sit at a desk the vast majority of the day. I was having back pain and other issues with my former desk chair. But this chair has ended all that. This chair is strong and supportive. (I am significantly overweight so a sturdy chair is often an issue.) I no longer am experiencing pain of any kind, back or otherwise. This chair is also a great value. Actually my CFO recommended this chair as he had just bought one for himself. (And I am talking the #2 person in the company - he could have ANY chiar!) - and so I bought it on his recommendation. Now mind you, my company bought this chair. I had many options, including spending considerably more money. But I am here to tell you, this chair is great. I recommend it whole heartedly. I am even planning on replacing my home desk chair with this one - on my own dime, no less!! Outstanding chair - strong, supportive, sturdy and comfortable in which to sit for a long period of time. I am 5'1" and weigh about 105lbs and suffered from chronic shoulder and lower back pain for years due to incorrect posture when sitting in front of my computer at home and at work. Most office chairs available in stores are made for individuals with medium built figure and I've looked for years to find that perfect chair that's made specifically for petite person like me. I finally decided on spending a small fortune buying 2 chairs (one for my hubby) for our home office and I wish I've done it sooner. If I add up all the medical bills I've had from going to my chiropractor and massage sessions throughout the years, I can probably buy 10 of these! I got the Size A which is perfect for my petite body build, I am no longer overreaching to my keyboard or find myself sitting on the edge of the chair because the seat is too "long". My shoulder/back pains have subsided significantly over the last 3 months since using this chair. The lumbar support is also great for my lower back!! I purchased the chairs in February and it worked so well that I just ordered another Size A for my work last week. Wayfair has been great to extend the volume discount on my 3rd Aeron chair. P.S. this is a very nice office chair. i've purchased 3 other office chairs in the past 10 years. all of them were high-backed black leather and all of them were a disappointment. i just received this one yesterday and, so far, i like this chair. i just need to see how the arm rests hold-up over the next year or so to judge durability and make a final judgement. the assembly directions aren't fabulous but they are almost exactly the same as the directions for the other chairs i've ordered so i already knew to unpack all the bolts and washers carefully and keep each group of bolts separate and organized. all the bolt holes have grommets, the grommets are securely seated and all the bolts mated to their grommets perfectly. and that perfect mating was a bit of a surprise. in my (limited) experience, there's usually some strong-arming required for one or two bolt/bolt holes. but there were no assembly problems with this chair. the only tool needed is an included allen wrench. even before assembly, you can feel the leather is very supple for a chair this inexpensive. once assembled, you can appreciate the lumbar support is excellent, the arm-rest, seat and back cushioning is very comfortable, the hydrolic mechanism works, as expected, and the casters are fair. i still want to see that the arm rest cushioning does not crush with use. i've seen that problem twice in other chairs. if these arms hold-up i would give this chair an unqualified thumbs-up even when compared with chairs costing 3 times as much."..."  Read more
