We moved into a house with vessel sinks in the master bath, you can't get close enough to the mirror to see well without glasses. My husband doesn't like to shave in the shower, so when I saw this mirror, I thought it might work to attach it to the existing wall mirror and then bend it toward my husband so he can see to shave. The mirror fits in the plastic holder with suction cups and they really hold it. He takes the mirror out of the holder after he's done shaving, but he has left it and it never falls. I did lots of research before ordering this 10x magnification, LED surround wall mirror. This is an outstanding product! The LED lighting is excellent with natural color, and it is battery operated, so there's no need to use a wall outlet and cord, although it comes with an adapter for that option. The mirror is of high quality and works great on both sides, as a standard mirror, as well as an excellent magnifier. The folding arm extends widely so the mirror(s) can be used flexibly on either side, in addition to tilting up and down. I really like this mirror. The 5x magnification is just right - I looked at 8x and 10x magnification mirrors at the store and my eyes couldn't even focus. The light around this mirror is great (I think it's more white light than yellow light I saw on other mirrors), and it helps me see things that I can't see with my regular bathroom lighting. The brushed nickel finish fits in well with my bathroom decor. At first I just had the cord hanging down from the wall, but my husband was able to put the cord inside the wall near the outlet.
