I ordered this mirror for our dining room wall above a buffet table. Everything in the room is big and rectangular so I wanted to mix up the shapes. This 34" mirror is a good size to make a statement but not take over the wall. It's 17 lbs. so not too heavy. The actual color doesn't look as bright to me as the picture, which is good because I wasn't after gaudy but wanted to pick up the bronze color. Although packaged well it arrived surprisingly dirty in each of the grooved areas and so I had to clean inside each of the 80 or so grooves prior to hanging. No big deal, I would have cleaned anyhow but I was surprised it arriving needing to be cleaned. But we really like how it looks on the dining room wall, it's a good contemporary style."..." Read more

This mirror looks great from afar, but is far from great. First, its not made of wood or metal as the picture might have you believe, but of some type of foam or resin. This is not mentioned anywhere on the website that I could find, and if this retailer or manufacturer had listed the weight in the specifications, one might have been able to figure it out, but I gather they would rather you think that it is made of a better material to draw you in at that particular price point. It doesn't weigh much compared to its size, which is great for hanging, but at the expense of durability. [...] Upon further inspection, prior to hanging it, I did notice the mirrors that are glued to it seem to be of average quality. The paint has runs on it here and there, mostly in inconspicuous spots, but that is what mass production quality is like from China. Overall it does look really cool on the wall, and that is ultimately what I wanted - it may seem a bit retro-70s to some people, but my wife and I like that kind of stuff. Perhaps other more expensive mirrors would be more durable, but I don't think I would recommend this one to a friend of mine."..." Read more

The mirror arrived promptly and well packaged. The electrician had no problems installing it. It is as represented and gives a wide area of bright, even color. I like having the light bulbs under the glass yet not having the light obstructed in any way. The look is sleek and modern.
