I bought the Tortoise Mirror to use over the sink in a cabana bathroom. The mirror is large enough to accomadate all grooming activities in the bathroom. (hair, make-up, ect.) I really like the look of the mirror. I was a little concerned on how it would look with the light fixture that was already existing on my wall but it looks fine. The reason I did not give it 5 stars was that the metal tortosie was bent (warped) in a few places. Although it appeared they took care in packaging the mirror it may have been bent in placing the mirror into the packaging or when we took it out. I bent the pieces so the mirror would hang uniform on both sides from the wall. It is close but not perfect. I would recomend that you would be very careful with the mirror when removing it from the packaging as the metal feet will bend easy. I was looking for an arched style mirror to put over my buffet. I like the design, however when it arrived, it was a bit smaller than I had anticipated. I didn't like the back of the mirror. It looked like someone had found a mirror, painted it over and resold it. I guess the front is what really counts, however, for the money, I would think it would have been a bit neater in the back to make the whole mirror more pleasing. I ended up putting the mirror on another wall and put a picture over the buffet. All-in-all, the FRONT of the mirror looks nice."..."  Read more

This mirror is a real gem: elegant yet simple. I used two (in the 36" x 26" size and hung horizontally) for above the sinks in our bathroom beneath oil rubbed bronze light fixtures. Perfect. However/caution: the actual size of each mirror is not 36 x 26, but 35 x 25. Since my husband is a full 12" taller than I am, choosing two mirrors that could be hung at the same level and still accomodate both of our eye levels was a key factor in my decision. Since the real size was just 1" smaller than I expected, and the mirrors are otherwise ideal, we decided to keep them. But, had I known they were really 35 x 25, I would not have considered them in the first place, as what I was seeking was a t rue 36 x 26" mirror. Another thing: In addition to stating accurate sizes in the product description, it would be VERY helpful if the Wayfair.com product description included the WIDTH OF THE FRAME itself (in this case 2 1/4"). THE reason I chose this mirror --in addition to its size, color and traditional style --was that the picture of it on the web site showed it to have a relatively narrow frame which meant the mirror itself would be all that much bigger. I would liked to have known the frame's true size before ordering instead of guessing. All in all, the Wayfair is a first class organization. I would not hesitate to order from them again (but I would e-mail them for true measurements--if that was important) before placing my order."..."  Read more

I have this mirror & it is stunning. You pull the wood trim on the interior of the mirror & it opens into a large jewelry compartment. No lock or pull to give away there is a compartment behind. If you search other hooker mirrors there are pictures of the interior & this one looks the same. I like that ALL your pieces are visable. My jewelry drawers were always messy & tangled.
