All Mirrors

I was looking for an arched style mirror to put over my buffet. I like the design, however when it arrived, it was a bit smaller than I had anticipated. I didn't like the back of the mirror. It looked like someone had found a mirror, painted it over and resold it. I guess the front is what really counts, however, for the money, I would think it would have been a bit neater in the back to make the whole mirror more pleasing. I really like this mirror. The 5x magnification is just right - I looked at 8x and 10x magnification mirrors at the store and my eyes couldn't even focus. The light around this mirror is great (I think it's more white light than yellow light I saw on other mirrors), and it helps me see things that I can't see with my regular bathroom lighting. The brushed nickel finish fits in well with my bathroom decor. At first I just had the cord hanging down from the wall, but my husband was able to put the cord inside the wall near the outlet. I have this mirror in the large / crystal (clear) finish. It is stark and simple. Hanging above the fire place I need to have vases and flowers around it as the mirror blends into wall. It's a great look but in the clear frame better as an accent mirror, not a focal point. At 15' feet away I also find that human figures are elongated, not distorted.
