We are very happy with these lamps. They look fabulous in our family room. They were a little difficult to assemble as I had to screew the light bulb assembly into the base and had to align the male post perfectly with the female base end to get it to screw in properly (straight). Also there is a plastic cord protector that had to be slid up from the cord and pushed into the base where the cord extends from the base and it was difficult to push this into the base as the hole was deformed on both units. The tiffany shdes were made of plastic (glass like) material and were dirty and had to be washed before use. These lamps replaced two lamps with which I had used a single 100 Watt bulb in each with a single dimmer. I could only use a maximum of 60 Watt bulbs in these new lamps, however, there are two bulbs per lamp, so that did not create a lower per-lamp light output."..."  Read more

The lamp is beautiful. Florescent bulbs will work with this lamp, but with incandescent bulbs the shade truly shines! The light effect against the shade is sharper(Try on your own). I use two 25W tube bulbs for lighting up the shade. Tube bulbs work well for lighting up Tiffany lamp shades because they're longer and light up more of the shade's real-estate. Would recommend for any tiffany-style lamp aficionado. Definitely a lamp to pass on as a heirloom. The electrical cord length is 72 inches."..."  Read more

This lamp comes with everything you need i.e. tools for assembly, bulbs for both parts. The only problem I have is that the reading lamp only swivels and rotates at the head. I was hoping the entire neck would move but it doesn't. Easy to assemble and the reading lamp provides enough light to sew and read by which was the whole reason I purchased this light.
