I ordered these lamps at the beginning of december, as a gift for my parents for Christmas, and they did not receive them till the beginning of february, 2 months later. For some reason, these lamps apparently were not immediately available at the time that I ordered them. My only complaint, is that it was NOT clear at time of purchase. Nevertheless, i did not cancel the order, and waited to see if it would ever ship, and allowed the lamps to become a little post xmas surprise for them. They finally shipped, and my parents are thrilled! They love the colors, and the size, which was perfect for the smallish/medium sized nightstands in their bedroom. Also, they said that the lamps appear to be well constructed and sturdy, and have an expensive look and feel to them. I give this item 5 stars, soley because of the immense satisfaction of my parents alone. I am a bit disappointed that i was not able to share in their surprise upon opening their gift, as i live in NY and they live in FL, and returned home after the christmas holiday. I love these lamps. First when I opened the box I wasn't sure about the color because I have a dark brown couches and I needed some colors to add to my living room. When I put them together I didn't mind the antique look it looks really very pretty but when I turned the light on, it blew me away even my 17 years old son who never payed attention to anything I buy said " Oh my GOD, I never seen anything that pretty. everyone visit me love them and ask me where I got them from.
