This is a beautiful lamp that I searched long and hard to find for the price. I have it in my two-story front foyer entrance on a round pedestal table and it is just perfect. It's a hefty sized table lamp so it works great in the larger space. The decor of the lamp is just beautiful and looks very intricate. The shade has a beautiful trim to it that also gives it a very sophisticated look. It matches the gold/brown wood tones of my stairs, table and hardwood floor and even complements the iron staircase it is close to. We purchased a pair of these lamps. They really are VERY pretty ... BUT the materials that come with the lamp say the maximum wattage is 100, not the 150 that is listed here. The shades are very dark so the lamps are great for setting ambience but not so good for casting a lot of light. We did buy 150 watt CFL three way bulbs but still not a lot of light. We like the lamps so we are keeping them. But we are now searching for additional lamps to place elsewhere in the room because these don't provide enough lumens."..."  Read more

They are truly beautiful lamps. They only reason I didn't give it five stars is that one lamp was leaning slightly to one side. However it was an easy fix as we put a small felt pad on the base on the other side and the lamp was then straight. I purchased these lamps to put on bedroom dressers right inside the bedroom, so there would be a light to turn on as you go into the room. (Lights run by the light switch were used for cable, printer/fax and computer router, etc). The bedside lamps were across the room and at night it was a little dicey getting to them.
