Fabulous lamp. Heavy, yet well balanced. 3 way bulb so you can choose lighting mood: full power reading small print low light for kissing a sweetie pie. The shade is exquisite and understated. The inside of the shade is lined with satin like fabric so it's gorgeous to look at when you look up from reading. Beautiful combination of textures, metal, wood. We bought a Quoizel floor lamp and are thrilled with it too. Not matching. You know the stuff out there is usually a hit or miss. This lamp is the real deal. Also, Wayfair is the real deal. We've bought a number of items from them and they know how to serve their customers. PS This review is the real deal...we've been shopping for 4 months to decorate our apartment (we have very refined tastes - thank you very much) and Wayfair is such a relief to deal with. Yes... I receive a reward gift for this review and that's my point: Wayfair actually knows how to show appreciation for customers. We bought three Quoizel lamps at the same time (pendant, torchiere and table lamp). The table lamp sits on a sideboard, and it is the perfect complement to the other two lamps (all three are in our great room). The globes on all three lamps look like glass, but are actually (heavy duty) plastic, and they are all beautiful, nonetheless. The table lamp has three standard-base sockets, each with its own pull chain, so it's easy to get the amount of brightness you want (we use clear 25W candelabra bulbs in it)."..."  Read more

The lamp is beautiful. Florescent bulbs will work with this lamp, but with incandescent bulbs the shade truly shines! The light effect against the shade is sharper(Try on your own). I use two 25W tube bulbs for lighting up the shade. Tube bulbs work well for lighting up Tiffany lamp shades because they're longer and light up more of the shade's real-estate. Would recommend for any tiffany-style lamp aficionado. Definitely a lamp to pass on as a heirloom. The electrical cord length is 72 inches."..."  Read more

Tried a couple other LED desk/task lamps, but never liked the light quality -- too whitish / greenish / cold, and too limited an area of illumination. I doubted this could be that much different--to the extent of calling Wayfair to double-check the return policies on the item. But the lamp is excellent. It really does have the same warmth and color rendering accuracy as a halogen, plus full dimmability, good design, etc. Not cheap, clearly, but the best task light I've seen. Makes it believable that one day LED lighting really will replace inefficient older lighting."..."  Read more
