I love this lamp. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't have a dimmer feature, which I needed because I'm using this in my living room as an accent light. However, for $14 I bought a full-range dimmer plug from [...] that converts any lamp into a full-range dimmer lamp. So, with the addition of that gadget, this lamp is now perfect. It gives off a nice warm orangey glow because the light is coming through the shells. It really is a perfect accent to my living room color scheme.I orininally bought this floor lamp and the matching end table lamp, however when I put the table lamp on the table, the shade is much lower than the shade on this floor lamp. I'm a perfectionist and like things symmetrical. So I bought a second floor lamp and now have a floor lamp on either side of my couch. Luckily the floor lamp has a narrow enough base that it could go behind my end table and still is far enough away from the wall."..."  Read more

I love torchere lamps. But as I get older, I seem to need brighter lights in my living room so I can read and use my computer without squinting. So I bought some extra bright bulbs. My old torchere lamp was not rated high enough for the extra watts of my new bulbs and I was afraid I would start a fire. Not good. I needed a torchere lamp to fit these extra bright bulbs. This Mystere floor lamp was exactly what I needed! It is very attractive. I especially like the frosted glass bowl. It allows just the right amount of light to diffuse through it to capatilize on all that strong light, but softens the light enough so it produces no bright glare. I would highly recommend this floor lamp to anyone who just needs lots of light but likes a little style, too."..."  Read more

I purchased the banker desk lamp for my husband's home office upon his request for a green shaded banker desk lamp. I started hunting on the internet, and this was the nicest one I could find for the right price. I chose the antique brass because I prefer that look over the shine of regular brass. The base of the lamp has some weight to it , which is a good feature. You don't have to worry about knocking it over. The base in my opinion has a very nice design to it. The lamp was not inexpensive but it was not over $100.00. I always feel like you get what you pay for. There are some green banker lamps on the market for around $30.00, and they look like a $30.00 lamp. The lamp even came with a light bulb!! My husband loves his lamp."..."  Read more

Spend many hours looking to replace a black torchiere floor lamp with reading light. This one was perfect, even better than my old favorite. Main light in living room with flexible reading lamp for late night reading. Love the fact that BOTH lamps have dimmers! Old one did not. Would buy again.
