Wayfair does it again! First let me rave about the company...we have been in the process of decorating of NYC apartment from the floor up. We've purchased a number of items from Wayfair and have had a great experience every time. Great customer service... products deliverd on time. If there is a delivery delay, you get an email that keeps you in the loop. That only happened once b/c it was an Asian item that was stuck at the border, I think. No other company had it in stock either. Floor lamp... if you are having doubts my advice is to BUY THIS LAMP NOW! We looked for months and months and months until my husband found this Utopia. Well made. Packed to be safe upon delivery. On trend but really unique. The metal shade that fits over the cream fabric shade has cutouts of delicate leaves. Very subtle yet it gives the lamp a unique pattern of light. Also, the two bulbs give plenty of light and can be used independently for setting the mood. Has a light diffuser on the top of the fixture so no harsh light. IMO this is the finest lamp at this (or any) price out there. I'm very pleased with this lamp. It looks expensive and classy. I saw some reviews that mentioned stains on the shade...my shade was completely wrapped and spotless. Each of the four parts easily slide into each other and lock into place. Reading the instructions to put the lamp shade and the light defuser together made that a lot easier. The defuser really adds to the look of the lamp and causes the light to not be so harsh. This lamp actually holds TWO 100 watt bulbs, not one like the listing said. I love that I can light up my whole room. If I want a dimmer light, I unscrew one of the bulbs which is easy to reach from the top of the lamp shade. The on-off switch is a push button on the floor and you just step on it...you don't have to bend down. High quality lamp, well worth the price!"..."  Read more

I needed to replace a similar lamp in my bedroom that I used for general lighting and reading (I always lie on the floor next to the bed to read). The previous lamp had an acrylic top shade and a metal shade for the reading lamp portion. This lamp has glass shades for both. It assembled easily, stands up straight, the finish is smooth and uniform, the lights and switches work, it gives off good light, and the lamp and shades look good. What more could one ask for? And the top lamp is three way,which was a pleasant surprise. You must use a three way bulb in it. The only caveat, which is not an issue for me, is that both type A light bulbs, after insertion, do stick out a slight way beyond the planes of the shades."..."  Read more
