Fabulous lamp. Heavy, yet well balanced. 3 way bulb so you can choose lighting mood: full power reading small print low light for kissing a sweetie pie. The shade is exquisite and understated. The inside of the shade is lined with satin like fabric so it's gorgeous to look at when you look up from reading. Beautiful combination of textures, metal, wood. We bought a Quoizel floor lamp and are thrilled with it too. Not matching. You know the stuff out there is usually a hit or miss. This lamp is the real deal. Also, Wayfair is the real deal. We've bought a number of items from them and they know how to serve their customers. PS This review is the real deal...we've been shopping for 4 months to decorate our apartment (we have very refined tastes - thank you very much) and Wayfair is such a relief to deal with. Yes... I receive a reward gift for this review and that's my point: Wayfair actually knows how to show appreciation for customers. How many times have you been asked to write a review or take a customer service survey out of the goodness of your heart in the last month? I appreciate being appreciated. I PURCHASED 2 OF THESE LAMPS. THEY ARE VERY BEAUTIFUL LAMPS THAT GO WELL WITH MY DECOR. I HAVE A LOT OF ROYAL BLUE CARPET WITH TWIN DOUBLE RECLINERS WITH LIGHT TAN AND LIGHT BROWN PATTERNS ON THEM. IT MATCHES WELL WITH THESER COLORS. I FIND OUT THE LITTLE BIT OF BEING JUST A LITTLE BIT SHORTER THAN THE REGULAR SIZE LAMP IS A GREAT PLUS. IT DOES NOT TAKE UP EXCESSIVE SPACE ON AN END TABLE. IT IS STABLE AND A LITTLE HEAVY WHICH TELLS ME IT IS MADE OF A GOOD DURABLE PRODUCT AND NOT SOME CHEAP PLASTIC.TO ME IT FELLS LIKE A HARDENED CLAY BUT DO NOT TAKE MY WORD. We purchased a pair of these lamps. They really are VERY pretty ... BUT the materials that come with the lamp say the maximum wattage is 100, not the 150 that is listed here. The shades are very dark so the lamps are great for setting ambience but not so good for casting a lot of light. We did buy 150 watt CFL three way bulbs but still not a lot of light. We like the lamps so we are keeping them. But we are now searching for additional lamps to place elsewhere in the room because these don't provide enough lumens."..."  Read more

These lamps are just simply beautiful, better than expected! The hand made design varies some from lamp to lamp, (I purchased two), and each one is gorgeous in it's own way. The colors are rich, and the lamps, shades, and finials add up to a package that look like it costs much more than it did! Competitors have this lamp listed at a much higher price.
