I had looked at many buffet lamps with exhaustion prior to finding this lamp. I noticed the deminison for this lamp is approx. the same size as a buffet lamp. My only concern was the larger lamp shade so I bought one. I was stunned when I saw it. It is absolutely beautiful! Much nicer than any other buffet lamp on the market. The quality is excellent. The lamp shade was a little bigger than my old buffet lamps but not much. I decided to order another one. I highly recommend this lamp. It is one of the most beautiful lamps in my home."..." We bought three Quoizel lamps at the same time (pendant, torchiere and table lamp). The table lamp sits on a sideboard, and it is the perfect complement to the other two lamps (all three are in our great room). The globes on all three lamps look like glass, but are actually (heavy duty) plastic, and they are all beautiful, nonetheless. The table lamp has three standard-base sockets, each with its own pull chain, so it's easy to get the amount of brightness you want (we use clear 25W candelabra bulbs in it)."..." Read more

They are truly beautiful lamps. They only reason I didn't give it five stars is that one lamp was leaning slightly to one side. However it was an easy fix as we put a small felt pad on the base on the other side and the lamp was then straight.
