I purchased the banker desk lamp for my husband's home office upon his request for a green shaded banker desk lamp. I started hunting on the internet, and this was the nicest one I could find for the right price. I chose the antique brass because I prefer that look over the shine of regular brass. The base of the lamp has some weight to it , which is a good feature. You don't have to worry about knocking it over. The base in my opinion has a very nice design to it. The lamp was not inexpensive but it was not over $100.00. I always feel like you get what you pay for. There are some green banker lamps on the market for around $30.00, and they look like a $30.00 lamp. The lamp even came with a light bulb!! My husband loves his lamp."..."  Read more

These lamps are beautiful. I got the floor lamps, one blue and one red (in different rooms). The light they create is soft. It wouldn't work as the only source of illumination but is a great for adding to light and as an accent piece. My one complaint is that the base of one lamp doesn't stay on well so moving it is a bit of a hassle, but generally these are fantastic stylish additions to our home decor."..."  Read more
