It took a few days before I had time to try out my purchase - and one plank is too big for my 2-serving grill. Anyway, it was no prblem to make 2 planks out of one, and after soaking it, applying a little olive oil to the plank, a little glaze to the salmon, and closing the lid over some hot coals, my wife and I had a gourmet dinner. Starting with some herbs from the garden, foil-wrapped potatoes while the grill was heating up, and adding a fresh salad, made it all come together at the right time.
