I have always purchased inexpensive irons that did not perform well or last long. I am thrilled with my V50. It has cut my ironing time by 75%. The only problem I see is where the controls are. I am constantly touching the heat control and I'm not crazy about the soft "buttons" on the sides for the steam. I would prefer a different control for the steam and the heat controls moved away from where your had rests when you are using the iron.
