I gave this to my nine year-old daughter for her birthday and she loves it. It is easy to use. Within the first half hour of use, she was able to focus on Saturn with the aid of the red spot viewfinder. Every night we are out star gazing. The unit is solid and easy to assemble. It took 30 minutes to put together and the instructions were simple to follow. The only snag was that I did not see the plastic tab over the battery which power the red spot light and took 10 minutes to figure that out. All in all, I'd recommend this telescope."..."  Read more
