I use this product to store all my video's, cd's and dvd's, from music, to movies, to anime collection in one accessible location..When I received my product, I opened the box, to check, verify and separate all pieces that the assembly instructions showed/stated that comes with it, in order to assemble the product.Then I just followed the instructions and illustrations, without any difficulties or problems.Since this product is both tall, wide and big in size and can hold an incredible amount on it's shelves. It went without saying (common sense)that it was necessary to anchor it against the wall, and did I so with an anchor, in each of the 3 major sections, hidden behind the "wood" backing.My cats, love to sleep on the vey top of it. No worries of any tipping or toppling over at all.Some other mention the shelves being "thin or flimsy". This does not cause any concern, for 2 reasons.1) The shelves are adjustable, so there are numerous holes on the sides and along the "wood" backing of each section, that you can easily added extra "toggles or the likes similar to those that are originally included with the product" to add/give it (the shelves) extra support, to hold the massive amount media it's capable of at full capacity. I planned to do so from the start and I have as the situation requires (again-common sense).2) I read all the reviews already posted on this product beforehand. However, the price, and quality and holding capacity of the product, [...] I think for all that, you more than get you money's worth. I had been seriously looking for a long time, comparing similar products, their size, holding compacity, with doors/no doors, etc. aong with comparitive pricing, both online and in stores.I can tell you, you won't find any other similar product anywhere, with all the features this one possess's, and definitely NOT for the price it is sold for here.That is why I knew that this is exactly what I wanted, and I love it. I purchased two of these to store my video game and movies. I am a reseller of video game and movies and needed quality, affordable, shelving. Assembly was easy and quick, but you do need a second person. I actually assembled the first one by myself and almost broke the shelving. I got my wife to help me with the second one. Great value for the amount of storage space per dollar and for the footprint. Finish is above average for the price; its not a cheap looking unit and is not intrusive. Fit & assembly were so-so; I would seriously consider fitting the back panels before final fixing of either top or bottom plate. Main problem is that the shelves are thin and flexible, which will lead to serious sag. The solution specified for this (using extra shelf anchors on top to "lock" the shelf in place) is not adequate. If a shelf is filled or if box sets are stored - the shelf will sag quite noticably - this doesn't look good - trust me. I resolved the problem by using angle brackets to brace the middle, but this is a pain to do and not helpful for future reconfigs. Shelves needs to be MUCH stiffer. Also, the decorative vertical elements obscure some shelf space, they need to be thinner. So, great value but be prepared to tweak."..." Read more

I purchased this item back in Oct 2011...from what I remember It took sometime aprox 3-4 hours for me to put togather. I had some minor diffculty and I found it a bit hard to move once it was put togather. I had to push it from the botton and I also have carpet. But...My 4 year old daughter and I LOVE IT. She has her own section of games and movies and its easy for her to rotate. I also needed another 2inches of space for the rotation. Once its filled you cant move it. So make sure you build in the spot you want it and move it before filling it. Over all GREAT product"..." Read more
