All DVD & CD Storage

I recently purchased this desk and, to be honest, I couldn't be more pleased! This little desk is exceptionally well put together, very sturdy and I love the design. Wing speaker shelves, elevated monitor ledge and raised docking shelf maximize desk space and there's lot's of storage space for all of your equipment. My only concern is that the winged speaker shelves do take up a little extra room - perhaps a raised rear-mounted design would have been more space efficient but, otherwise, this is a real bargain for the price. And the little drink holder on the leg? Genius! In Florida, we get a lot of condensation on cold drinks - this prevents damaged papers/books and saves the desk a lot of wear and tear by ensuring your drinks don't 'sweat' on the desk. I bought these Atlantic cd racks to go with the Atlantic dvd racks I purchased previously. I wall-mounted mine, and the cd racks will also go on the wall, next to the dvd racks. Both will be flanking the flat screen tv, which will be centered on the wall. I don't have a lot of floor space for large cabinetry units, so minimal wall mounted units were the best choice for me. I liked the black finish steel racks, because they are slim, "disappear" when filled, and are very clean looking. Other reviews stating that the units weren't stable on the floor, presenting a tipping problem probably would apply if I wanted them to be free standing, but I wanted them specifically to wall-mount, and they are perfect for that. Currently, my tv is still on a small rolling unit. When I finally get the wall-mounting arm for the tv, the whole system, racks, tv, recorders, etc. will be attached to the wall, and will streamline the entertainment center, a must for me because of my room dimensions. Provides attractive storage for my VHS, DVD, and CD collections. Very pleased with appearance. It is unobtrusive and fits well as part of our home entertainment center. holds much more than i anticipated. the adjustable shelves allows for dvd's, so the change up makes for a nice decorating blend. Not sure how blue rays do or fit because i don't own any. i'm pleased with my purchase--used this tower as a corner case in a set of shelves that line an entire wall and a half in my entertainment room. so... lots of books and some music and movies all for a great price. who can complain? oh, and super easy to assemble. shelves just slide in."..."  Read more
