I use this product to store all my video's, cd's and dvd's, from music, to movies, to anime collection in one accessible location..When I received my product, I opened the box, to check, verify and separate all pieces that the assembly instructions showed/stated that comes with it, in order to assemble the product.Then I just followed the instructions and illustrations, without any difficulties or problems.Since this product is both tall, wide and big in size and can hold an incredible amount on it's shelves. It went without saying (common sense)that it was necessary to anchor it against the wall, and did I so with an anchor, in each of the 3 major sections, hidden behind the "wood" backing.My cats, love to sleep on the vey top of it. No worries of any tipping or toppling over at all.Some other mention the shelves being "thin or flimsy". This does not cause any concern, for 2 reasons.1) The shelves are adjustable, so there are numerous holes on the sides and along the "wood" backing of each section, that you can easily added extra "toggles or the likes similar to those that are originally included with the product" to add/give it (the shelves) extra support, to hold the massive amount media it's capable of at full capacity. I planned to do so from the start and I have as the situation requires (again-common sense).2) I read all the reviews already posted on this product beforehand. However, the price, and quality and holding capacity of the product, [...] I think for all that, you more than get you money's worth. I had been seriously looking for a long time, comparing similar products, their size, holding compacity, with doors/no doors, etc. aong with comparitive pricing, both online and in stores.I can tell you, you won't find any other similar product anywhere, with all the features this one possess's, and definitely NOT for the price it is sold for here.That is why I knew that this is exactly what I wanted, and I love it. I have owned this piece for almost six years now and I love it. I have 4 children and many bumps and bangs into this and its still standing. It holds a ton of DVD's and the door racks are very sturdy, others may have just gotten a faulty set. The only thing we did have to do is L bracket the bottom platform from underneath but only because someone tried to move it full and cracked it a little. You cannot see them and it totally reinforced it. If this can stand up to our crazy house I promise you that you will love it. Im ordering my second one today. I bought this and the corner TV stand from the Naples collection and this furniture matches our white trim and woodwork perfectly. We looked for weeks for pieces to fill our new great room and I am very pleased in this decision. The Naples material is very sturdy and is not made of cheap partical board - you are getting real solid wood here. The only glitch with this media cabinet is that the magnetic holders on the doors are really strong so you have to be careful when opening it so it doesn't tip (we have carpet). I wouldn't let this deter you though as I am knit-picking. Easy to assemble and a very solid piece for those looking to tuck away DVDs, CDs, and other items."..."  Read more

holds much more than i anticipated. the adjustable shelves allows for dvd's, so the change up makes for a nice decorating blend. Not sure how blue rays do or fit because i don't own any. i'm pleased with my purchase--used this tower as a corner case in a set of shelves that line an entire wall and a half in my entertainment room. so... lots of books and some music and movies all for a great price. who can complain? oh, and super easy to assemble. shelves just slide in."..."  Read more
