All Clocks

I purchased this clock because I already had two Howard Miller clocks in my home (one in my dining room and one in my living room). The one in my living room has a pendulum, and because of this, it constantly runs fast, even though my husband and I have tried the usual ways of slowing it down. So I just stop the clock every now and then, and change the time. I plan to keep playing with it, in hopes that I can slow it down someday. I didn't send it back bcause it is a very handsome clock, and really looks nice on my living room wall. The clock that I bought f[...]is a small brushed nickle Howard Miller clock. It is the perfect size (9") for the small bathroom that is downstairs next to my family room. All of the accessories for that bathroom are the brushed nickle, and the clock matches them so well. The clock runs beautifully, and looks grand on the sage green wall behind it. I'm very happy that I was able to find it. I purchased three other clocks before I found this one. I was able to return two of them. The third I couldn't return, as I had used it. There is nothing wrong with it, it just doesn't match my accessories as well as I hoped it would, and isn't nearly as small. I place this clock in my bedroom (14'x 17') and have no problem reading across the room even in low light. This clock has a second hand that is barely visible when view in a certain angle, which is very unique and to my preference. This clock is a bit on the heavy side compare to similar size clock due to the solid construction, which is not a bad thing at all. Overall, Howard Miller Easton Wall Clock is very solid built, silent, reliable, accurate, and easy to read. The bottom line is that I would recommend this clock to any person who wants a simple yet modern clock to fit in almost any room."..."  Read more

I have this clock mounted on my rear deck. It has a 12" diameter clock face. You can see it from a good distance away. You can swivel the clock and lock it into any position. Has an old style look to it. The mounting bracket it heavy cast iron. Complaints: No mounting screws included. Not a huge deal, but for the money, they should included mounting screws. At times during rainy weather, the clock face does get a little foggy in spots. I can still read the clock with no problem, but it is annoying. I did try and take the clock apart and make sure all the seals were seated properly, but it still does it. I haven't found any water inside the clock, just the fogging up of the glass from the inside. The temperture gauge seems to be accurate, but when the sun hits the clock, forget it."..."  Read more

I've been wanting this clock for about a year and finally decided to replace my 15 year old pendulum clock and buy it...Couldn't be happier with my decision..!!...It's exactly as shown and described as online...It matches the wood on my living room furniture perfectly,as does the wrought iron detailing it has.... Howard Miller has certainly been making fine products for many years and is world re-known,so I had no doubt it would function properly...The pendulum swings very quietly,the clock works as it should,and the clock face is enclosed in a protective glass dome.... The only thing I would change is the overall size...I wish Howard Miller would make a larger version of this clock for living rooms (HM,are you listening..??..Maybe wider and a little taller..?)...Because it's narrow,the clock face is a bit small and a little harder to read from a distance,and the current size is out of proportion to most of today's living room furniture pieces, but I'm not returning mine...!!....
