Like some of the other reviewers have mentioned, it look somewhat cheap when you take it out of the box. However, also like others mentioned, it looks great once hung on the wall. It's big and impressive. My skeptic wife was thoroughly pleased with the purchase.
Let me note that the seconds hand is very thin and weak. I had this clock left on the floor for just a few seconds and our 1-year-old managed to bend. Easy fix but he could very well have broken it.
If you see what you like in the picture, I would suggest getting it. It's a great piece and will surely grab your guests' attention. It will, however, be lighter and thinner than you would expect. Well, you have to be able to hang it on the wall, right?"..." Read more

I monitored this clock for awhile, and then I realized I couldn't afford it, because at the time it was around $680. Then I decided to look it up again during the Christmas holidays, and it was half off! I immediately ordered this clock when the price was cut in half, and now I'm in love with it! I have it in my office next to my antique bench and chair,and it fits perfectly in this "Waiting Area" for my clients to view while they wait on me.
