I was looking for a non-wood modern clock to go with my room with two Futons with modern covers. The whole back of the clock is a mirror. The decoration is on top of the mirror. The colors are silver and black-very sleek. It's a really big clock and is silent-hate to hear ticking. It has an Oriental feel and is a nice decoration on the wall. It also keeps perfect time. I think it's a beautiful clock - very modern and so far is hasn't stopped ticking (which happened within weeks to a previous clock I bought somewhere else). I have not hung it yet, because I don't know exactly how to do it right. You can't just use a nail because then the bottom of the clock tilts toward the wall and the top tilts away - need to figure out how to make it straight since the mechanism sticks out in the back and makes it hang funny. Also, I wish the glass was tempered. I live in LA - earthquake-land, so I worry about it falling off the wall and breaking if we have a big one."..."  Read more
